Slowly On Our Way

We've got some more work done today.

I finished translating Fake Dance, and then the live schedule for April is done as well.
My friend has almost got the recent release news done as well.

It's been all done in about 3 hours too! That's some record time if I do say so for myself!

Staff Update

So we've welcomed on a few more helpers.

Hiroki had asked one of her friends who translates for Jrockers at cons to help out and he agreed to help out with some of the smaller things. He's very busy, so I'm very glad that he doesn't mind helping, though we're not yet sure if he is going to sign on as a full time staff member.

I've also enlisted the help of one of my friends from my Japanese class. We're going to figure out a day where we will go over the Undercode News Feed and then put it into English. Between the two of us, we're pretty confident that we can get it done in a day if we really put our backs into it.

Another friend of mine who speaks almost fluent Japanese has also offered to help us. Again, I'm not sure if she's going to sign on as a full staff member, but she's going to help out with some of the songs as well. She's part Japanese and has a lot of family and friends in Japan and she works with it a lot.

I'm very glad to have all of these people helping me even though the site has not yet been launched. But having all of this help will certainly make things a lot easier to get done and make the ball roll that much faster so that we can get as much information as possible up here before the launch of the site.

The reason that I have not listed any peoples names here as well is because I am waiting for their aliases. I don't know who is uncomfortable having their name online and who isn't. I know that as far as myself is concerned, I don't always like everyone knowing my name, so I refuse to give their names until I have been told an aliases or that its alright to us their name.

More and more work

I've been working on trying to get more of Lin's work done so that Hiroki can play with the design some more. We're almost ready and I'm getting excited for it!

I finished translating Metamorphose, and I am going to work on As if Forever Exists next.

Almost Complete

The website is almost ready to be launched! It is strange to think that it's almost ready! I'm excited and a little nervous. I know that this site is going to be a lot of work, but I think that it will be good for me.
There aren't a lot of things that I can usually stay dedicated to, but UCP has always been something that I have been able to always go back to. It's Japanese which is enjoyable and then it is music which is my life. So I think with those two being in there it will be easy to at least get myself to work even if the work itself is difficult.

We have a couple more people who have joined on board, although I'm not sure if they are here to stay or just offer help every now and again. They speak Japanese, but they aren't really sure about UCP, but they have offered their services to the site to help break the barrier between English and Japanese music.

Myself, right now I am going to busy myself with translations. I have a lot of things that I can do for Lin right now since I own the CDs for that. But when the time comes when I have that finished, I'm going to need help getting a hold of all the other bands lyrics for the songs section. But until then, I'm going to work on translations and discographies as best as I can.
